Finally,my contest entry for something by KingAsylus. This may look terrible but eh,it does actually. I've tried really hard to iron out the flaws but eh,don't see why this would win.First of all,Del Toro's Godzilla movie is possibly the best I've seen in quite a while. Forget the critics,this is Godzilla at its finest. It's much better compared to the 1998 catastrophe which should be renamed 'The Beast from 20'000 fathoms' even though that movie has cool battles but that's beyond the point. Freaking Matthew Broderick.Β

actually Del Toro didn't make the remake, Gareth Edwards who is also a Godzilla fan made it (Del Toro wants to do a PR/Big G crossover though)

Well,the movie bombed because of the casting. Everyone hates the movie and James Rolfe in his review stated that the movie should've been called 'The Creature from 10'000 Fathoms'.

agreed that it would make a better Beast from 20,000 fathoms remake than a Godzilla one. Apparently one of the makers of the film (Mr. Devlin specifically) hates this film now and regrets making the 1998 one and liked the 2014 better apparently

Well,there's his redemption. Hehe. Now all we need to do now is to rename "Godzilla" 1998 as that film I mentioned earlier.
