Another one of my home-brewed Number Cards, again based on various Alice fandoms.

Number 21: Infernal Train

Fiend/Xyz/Effect
ATK: 2000 DEF: 0

Once per turn, by detaching one Xyz Material from this card, you can activate one of the following effects:
* Special Summon one "Ruin Token" (Fiend/Level 1/ ATK 0/ DEF 0). Whenever this monster is destroyed in battle, destroy the monster that attacked it. Then, deal damage to your opponent equal to the attacking monster's ATK.
* Until the End Phase of this turn, this card can be treated as a Level 8 monster. If this card is not used as Xyz Material, take 2000 points of damage.

I figured, since its effects were so good, it needed low DEF and a potentially damaging effect to even it out. This one should also be better because I actually downloaded a visual of the different numbers and Photoshopped a "21" in there.

This card has some strange parallels with Number 42: White Rabbit (seen here: [link] ). Its Level is twice that but its Number is half that (as American McGee's Alice: Madness Returns released in 2011), and their ATK and DEF values are flipped.

It's also Level 8 as a tribute to IV's Gimmick Puppet monsters in the anime.

Based on the Infernal Train from Madness Returns, this is a card used by the Wonderland-obsessed big bad, Dessie. But it's only her second to last resort. If things go really bad, she can activate its second special ability and use it to Xyz Summon Number 88: Destiny Leo.
