Your Numine species is very interesting. You've done a great job--such as the attention to detail--in both describing and drawing them. ^-^
One quick question though. Are the Numine--your black and white grim reapers throughout time--created by this phantom dragon, or are each of the Numine able to transform into a dragon as well?

Well. That's kind of a mystery XD.
I slowly want to release more clues as time goes on through illustrations.
As another clue, a Numine will have another form too. I just haven't drawn it yet :3

First, I have to say I like this piece. I especially like the wispy effect on the dragon as well. Every time I see that effect on something or someone I either get the feeling of either the object/person is just an avatar of some other higher being or the object/person is just so powerful that their physical form can barely maintain itself. As much as I like this out piece, there are a few gripes that I have with it.

Most of the gripes that I have to do with the anatomy of the dragon. The first thing that I noticed is that the hind leg of the dragon seems too small to be able to hold up the girth of the dragon's body. Two easy solutions to this would be to either make the hind leg a bit thicker or to slim down the dragon's body.

Another issue I have with this is the placement of the shoulder (on the arm pointed at the human). A quick fix for this could be to raise the arm upward a bit so that itβs level with the other shoulder.

Besides that, I really enjoyed this. I may even make my own Numine in the future.

Numine Information
The Numines
Β Β
Numines are the rulers of life and death and how they came to be is unknown. But there is one thing known about them for sure, and itβs that they are older than time itself.
They are clad in black and white, made from the energy of life and death.
The mask of Numines
Numines all have their own masks and no two Numine masks are the same. The mask is where most of the life energy of the Numines are stored. The masks doesn't seem to be on them and just hover around them. The masks are white with black patterns with excess life energy being given out.
Whenever a Numine grants life to a being, the mask absorbs the death inside the being and death goes to the scythe then their clothes, which is their Numine gear.
