Description My first fan art from Peach Girl. I only seem to do fan art if I *REALLY* like a series, and PG is no exception--I'm following the anime AND the live-action version (read most of the comics, too). I'm pretty pleased witht he way this came out, except for a few shading flaws. I especially like the way her hair turned out. I used one of those Tachikawa cartridge pens. Going to start using that and the dipping pen more often--not for TV-C, since I don't want to change inking styles halfway through a comic--but for other stuff.

Yeah I noticed the year!

And oh my, I wish I could lend it to you, I bought the whole series a while back. But at the same time I'm kind of glad you didn't have to go through hair-pulling fits from all the escalating drama in the series. [My cousin and brothers could not handle it, hahaha.]

I read the first 4-6 volumes, I think . . . and watched up to episode 16. I always wanted to get more, but our bookstores never had all of the ones I needed. Maybe someday! XD (The drama from Sae posing as Momo made my head explode . . .)

Very nice work, R-chan! I love it. You matched the colors of the character beautifully, I like her pose and expression. It's very nice to see a happy Momo-chan.

Thanks! I'm glad I got her hair color right. I was afraid (before I started coloring) that I'd make it tooooo blond.
Yeah, I hate it when she gets drawn as a bit too slutty. It's the exact opposite in the story! In the Taiwanese live-action version, it takes place at a college, and Momo first shows up at a freshman mixer. When she gets out of the taxi cab her skirt gets caught in the door and it rips (it's tulle), so to try and save face, she rips a bit more off to even it out. Unfortunately, it gives everyone the impression that she's easy . . . . poor Momo T_T

Dude, you simply must download it Or I will be forced to copy it for you and mail it off to you, wherever you are XD There were a couple of small changes in the anime (the condom in the wallet turned into a hairclip, for example--probably for slightly younger viewers) but for the most part it's very true to the manga, which I like
