This hurts. This hurts SO MUCH. My eyes are WATERING.Across the Universe fan art. Just saw the movie and loved it--I mean, what's not to love about a musical filled with Beatles songs?!
Anyway, I wanted to try and emulate poster art from the 60's, and I'm not 100% sure if I succeeded. i thought about writing all the text out by hand but that would have killed me, so I opted for warping a bunch of text, which worked OKAY but still nut as well as I would have liked.
And yes, they are Simpsons yellow. Because if you're going for trippy, eat the whole 'shroom.
At any rate, put on some sunglasses and enjoy, if you can!

If you liked this movie, you should see "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". They don't really have anything in common except for a few shared songs and characters with names from songs, but it's pretty funny - in an old, cheesey movie kind of way.

Hard Day's Night, the movie documentary, right? : D! I just received that DVD from mail two days ago! I originally ordered it last month, but the delivery didn't go so well, so another one was sent my way. It was a present for my cousin's birthday. She ran to my room as soon as she found it lying on her desk in her room. She was speechless. XD!
I haven't gotten the chance to watch it all yet! But I surely will soon! I know I'd want to watch it over and over and OVER again too..

Anyways, I think the text worked really well! The only thing I'd suggest is to, next time, try to have the different word arts sort of flow into each other. Right now it's sort of disjointed. Cool and trippy, but disjointed. (am i making sense?)

if you can believe it, i just took some strawberries and red paint to an innocent canvas about an hour ago, in honour of across the universe. it was pretty cool.
