This hurts. This hurts SO MUCH. My eyes are WATERING.Across the Universe fan art. Just saw the movie and loved it--I mean, what's not to love about a musical filled with Beatles songs?!
Anyway, I wanted to try and emulate poster art from the 60's, and I'm not 100% sure if I succeeded. i thought about writing all the text out by hand but that would have killed me, so I opted for warping a bunch of text, which worked OKAY but still nut as well as I would have liked.
And yes, they are Simpsons yellow. Because if you're going for trippy, eat the whole 'shroom.
At any rate, put on some sunglasses and enjoy, if you can!

I was psyched 'cause the guy who played Max was in a play we just saw a week or two ago at the Playhouse in Cleveland for our class. He was Claudio in Measure for Measure (Shakespeare).
I'm really tempted to go see it again. Musicals make me happy ^^

Ah, I've been wanting to see this movie. I'm a major Beatles fan, for sure, so I was dying to see this movie. Alas, no one else gives a flying fry pan, so I'll have to wiat until I can rent it on DVD.
But on to a comment about the actually picture. I love it, it's really trippy. I did sense a real 60's vibe, but somehow, it's not psychadelic enough. Perhaps you should have used a tye dye-esque background? I'm not really sure though...But it does look absolutely lovely!

Well, I tried different gradients to get a more rainbow effect, but they either obscured the lettering or just hurt my eyes way too much to keep XD;;;

It's now my favorite movie everrrrrrrrrrrr!
I loved every part, but I was particularily impressed with the "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" scene. As well as "Happiness Is A Warm Gun"
