I drew Hua Mulan for my character design class. We had to choose a real person and design them, so I chose Mulan bc she was badassI tried to do a historically accurate armor for her, but NOBODY knows when she was born or if she was even a real person! so I just gave up and went all crazy with the armor lol

Her armor looks like one of a later dynasty but from what I know the character is based on an actual person from a earlier one. So the armor might not really fit but it's pretty cool^^

there are many balads and poems about mulan, but nobody knows when the first one was made and if it was even based on a real person. The armor doesn't fit at all lol I just tried to make it look like a flower, because Mulan means Magnolia!
