My third and last entry for Obscuri-Jam 2023, presenting once again a character from a very unknown video game that nobody remembers, in this case Kineticlops from War of The Monsters.

For those who don't understand, War of the Monsters was a Playstaiton 2 exclusive game released in January 2003, a fighting game with a kaiju monster theme, paying tribute to the monster movies of the 50's and several references to films like War of the Worlds, Godzilla, King Kong, The Deadly Mantis, etc, with a gameplay that seems as if we were mixing Rampage with Custom Robot. The truth is I don't understand why this game if it was well received on the average, for example with a score of 80/100 on Metacritic it didn't go to major, the game was not even released for other consoles being exclusive for Playstation 2, being able to have been released also for Gamecube, original Xbox, or even PC. And of course it had no sequels, the closest thing was a cameo of Kineticlops as an unlockable character in Downhill Domination.
I feel that there are only a few who really want this game to come back, in this case and who have good ideas for a sequel or remaster. The closest this game came to being recognized again was when they released a Playstation 4 port in 2015.
