As you might have surmised, the dynamic with fallen humans isn't the same as in Undertale here. The kids all fell ill with a mysterious sickness and died, and even if some of their SOULs got collected, Asgore isn't trying to get to seven to break the Barrier. The Uderground dwellers in LustGold have nothing again humans in fact.
Goldie doesn't know much about this himself, but as things are now, things wouldn't change much if another human fell. They'd most likely just get sick too.
