EDIT - since it's been misinterpreted, we prefer to clarify it here: this artwork is in no way related to the Genocide Route of Undertale. It's a concept art which regards a personal project, revolving around both Undertale and Deltarune (hence the references to both Kris and Chara such as the golden petals and the text quoting Survey Program).

it depends! I tend to use Photoshop CC, but sometimes I start the sketch on Procreate and finish it on PS

Procreate only costs 10 dollars (but it's only for iPad I think), and if you want to try a pretty good program for free, I recommend FireAlpaca

I believe I use bright colors...so much bright colors.
Did I mention how amazing it is?
Even though practically everything is red, the eyes still manage to pop!
(I like that little heart in the center of their chest)
And the flower petals add an eye catching element

Thank you a lot for the compliments If I can give you an advice (as how I had the eyes "pop" using the same background color), it's all about contrast. It doesn't matter how bright the color(s) is, if there's enough contrast between sections of the drawing, certain details will always come out as eye-catching ^^ - as to how to do it, I just experimented A LOT until I was satisfied with the result. I'll be taking a look at your gallery soon, thank you again for the comment and the watch

Simply stunning!!! She seems very 1920s but that might be the hair. those eyes are sooo powerful and creepy... i am drawn to her... like... woah.
Interesting that this could be interpreted as Chara or Kris but I see Chara more... though yeah, could totally work as Kris too.

The confusion whether this is Chara or Kris was intended so props for that :3 Let's say they could be both, depending on how you'd prefer to interpret it. Among our 100+ projects there's one involving Deltarune, and this came out as a result of days spent plotting & speculating!
