when i really thought you did
when i thought you were being genuine
now its just another meaningless statement
youre arid and merciless
this facade you put up
it conceals what you truly feel
secrets never last
it pushes me further away
what i wish for
i can never have
whatever makes you happy
i have no more hope

confused me
