Description Cheeky Little Robin

I was out walking when I came across this little robin who flew down onto this branch (which was about two feet away), waited until I got my camera out, gave me the time to focus, shoot and then flew away again.

Baring in mind that the lens that I had on my camera was my 100 mm macro, hardly the lens for taking shots of little birds in the wild! What a cheeky little bird, I think he was desperate for a portrait

Thank you, I don't think I'll ever be this close to a wild bird with camera in hand, particularly as this is the only prime lens that I have. Doubly lucky I guess

Well this one didn't seem to mind my company; they can, however, be very territorial and will fight off, very aggressively, other robins who get too close

Oh, I meant friendly around humans, not other birds Some birds are naturally more friendly/curious about people, others are more leery.
