I like your post. really nice subject and soft vignette. However, I personally wish the two characters had more emotion in their expressions, rather than the generic open mouth and dot eyes you chose to use. Maybe you did that on purpose, but you could try a more genuine expression to add a tone of seriousness to the picture. Perhaps even the addition of eyebrows to express anguish would help.

It is torn. I did one before this and tried it with scissors but it was just too neat and when i placed it on the bigger (and scribbled) paper, the doodle looked like it was part of it so.. i ripped this one
