Nyx awoke in a strange place, it looked exactly like her home, but something was off. Everything was dark and dead expect the vegetation on the ground. A soft green light emitted from the plants, it was almost comforting in a way. She studied the glowing plants from afar. They were enchanting? An imaginary tug pulled at her, encouraged her to follow these plants. Her tall chunky yet sleek body gave in. As she stepped forward a new feeling brushed against her entire back. Turning her head in confusion, there was a set of black wings resting upon her back like a pair of crows wings. Wow, she'd never see anything like it. The black color had an iridescent glow as if it was like oil, but not oil? Who cares, they were gorgeous! Wonder and awe flooded through her; she had to explore this mysterious place!
The dark forest sent chills down her spine. This odd place didn't have a welcoming feeling to it, but the glowing plants did. Its as if they could talk to her? Follow me, follow me. Come this way! We know how to navigate her safely. Her hooves beat in a beautiful two-beat rhythm against the ground, music to her ears. As she approached the glowing plants her white markings started to glow green. Another odd thing had happened? The closer she got to the plants the more her white would glow green. She found a small patch where the plants were really strong. She lied down next to them and watch her coat transform before her eyes! Nyx looked almost like a completely different ballator.
Before the mare could continue her journey, she awoke. Nyx was back in the cave with the forset mare.
