Description
Two persons, two strangers. They will cross each other in the vancant square and they'll look into each other's eyes. They will continue to walk though, unwarely that their lives had crossed in that exact point. None of them wanted this to happen, yet, none of them wanted this not to happen - it's the indifference of the Β«repeated steps of the quotidianΒ».
They just passed, they just crossed. They just familiarly continued complete strangers to each other.


Taken in Piazza Santa Croce, Firenze.
If you look closer you can see Santa Croce reflected in the ground.

what a beautiful aesthetical picture!
i like the fact that the image appears to be divided into two distinct plans, emphasizing even more on the concept you want to convey in it
this shows how predictible are we sometimes, especially when we let this kind of invisible barriers to guide us
the funny thing is that one is not able to do much things in order to change this, so the awarence doesn't imply the acting
moreover, it gives you the comfortable impression that this is the 'normal' thing to happen
i think everyone has experienced this kind of let's say reactions and found himself caught by his constraints and limitations....'it's ok'
the texture is perfect....very good overall

Yes, I agree we tend to think "it's the normal thing to happen...", or sometimes we don't even think that; sometimes you don't even notice you cross someone (even if stranger...), you just cross...
