Description
Seskel was born a high elf. He was around 125 and preparing to marry his beloved, a fellow high elf named Quelenna Galanodel, when he and a number of his companions were abducted by an elder god and suffered barbarous torture at the god's hands. The result of their treatment was that the ones who survived became a new race entirely, Orcs. Seskel returned to his lover, in pain and desparate for her love. Seeing him as he was now disgusted Quelenna, and she sent him away saying that she would not be with a monster. This enraged him, a side effect of becoming an Orc, and he slaughtered her and every other elf in her residence. The only thing that stopped his killing was the voice of his gnome friend, Haimish. Haimish brought him out of his rage and accompanied him away from the elven woods. During their journeys, Seskel became the object of interest of a vampire who offered him immortality. He gladly accepted and became a vampire himself. Shortly after this, Haimish died of natural causes. In grief, Seskel went searching for Haimish's estranged family. He found them in time to save them from a goblin attack. They were frightened of him but listened to his explanation of his interference. He decided to set up his home at the top of the mountain that overlooked their current encampment. His presence allowed the gnomes to live in peace, so they eventually made their encampment into a small village. Seskel decided to continue to protect the gnomes in his domain and casted powerful spells on the surrounding lands to prevent hostile forces from finding his little charges. The village was named Haimishville after the reason that they were protected and is often thought to be just a myth.-------------------------------------
