Here's my brand new species!! ;w; i love them!
I'll be making trait lists and more in-depth guides soon, so stay tuned! They're semi-open for now, but idk if that'll stay :/

Astrals are small fennec fox-looking creatures, but they are extremely small. They are created inside their own pocket of the universe, specifically for them! When they are born, all of their eyes are shut, but they are soon transported into the normal realm (Their bottom eyes open once transported). It is in this realm that they will stay until they have found their 'Item of essence', this is basically just an item that they become spiritually attached to, and base their entire existence around. Astrals are born very plain, starting off as just one solid color and having almost no personality, but once they have found their 'Item of essence' their entire appearance and demeanor changes, they gain markings and patterns based around their 'Item of essence'. Finding their 'Item of essence' is no simple task however, It can take weeks, months or even years to find it, Astrals don't really mind though, as they live for thousands of years. Once they have found their 'Item of essence' they gain the ability to travel back to their little pocket of space, often referred to as a "Rift" by Astrals. Their rift becomes completely customized to that Astrals personality, likes and 'Item of essence'.

Astrals have the ability to travel back and forth between realms freely!

Most Astrals carry a piece of their 'Item of essence' or even the actual item depending on the size, but even if they can't, they still wear something to remind them of it. If an Astrals 'Item of essence' is damaged, their personality begins to shift and deteriorate and their markings fade, until the item is fixed (This doesn't affect them if they have a piece of that item with them), If their 'Item of essence' is completely destroyed, the Astral will lose all personality and their markings will disappear, they will (Basically) have to start back at the
beginning.

IMPORTANT!!: The fur inside the ears and the tail HAVE TO BE A GALAXY PATTERN!!!

In case you were wondering, the Astral on this sheet is named Comet, and they are the Astrals Mascot! Their 'Item of essence' Is a small comet keychain! (They wear it around their neck!)
