Whatever is best for the drawing. It depends on the lighting and the colour of the horse.

It depends on what you use. You have Gimp, right? For gimp you just use smudge or blur tool, and for SAI you use the water colour tool. It just depends on what you are comfortable with.

It certainly does. I dont do digital drawing/painting due to my lack of tablet but im defo giving it a go.

Oh yeah. My colouring on the computer is appalling. My stable map might be digital but it was made with brushes so i didnt really do any of the work.
My wolf adopts were digitally coloured and are on my donation pool. I would love a verdict of my colouring ability from you. If thats ok?

Hahaha thank you! My two friends who also draw, have their tablets named. My friend who has the intuos named it Tuto and my friend with a friggin cintiq calls it Cindy!
I actually love your stable map! It looks lovely! My stable map is meh. Hopefully when I have enough points I can commission someone to draw my stable.
