Description
Whenever I watch Loud House clips featuring Clyde's same-sex parents on YouTube, I notice that people make comments on how in some countries, either Howard is made into a female or the episodes featuring Howard and Harold are pulled out completely.I can understand how those countries did those censorships to Clyde's parents because they are mainly conservative. However, the YouTube comments made me want to bring up another censorship issue I noticed in the Lion Guard: How Janja's signature word "furbrain" is censored in the Philippines, which is btw my home country.
I remember watching the episode "Follow that hippo" on TV and I noticed that whenever it's Janja's turn to speak, the word "furbrain" is edited out. For example, when Janja and his hyenas were chased by crocodiles, Janja's line went from "Swim, furbrains! Swim!" to "Swim! Swim!".
As a Filipino, I understand that one of the Filipino cultural traits is to highly respect one another, whether it's family, friends, or co-workers. In addition, I understand that the Philippines has a collectivist culture. However, I don't see these two facts as good reasons to pull out Janja's signature word. For one thing, "furbrain" isn't a swear word. Also, even if Janja calls Cheezi and Chungu that, it doesn't sound that degrading as "idiot" or "moron". Besides, for those of you who grew up in the Philippines and watched Courage the Cowardly Dog, you can still remember hearing the phrase "stupid dog". So, why the heck would the censorship people in the Philippines allow "stupid dog" but not "furbrain"?
So, here are Clyde and Janja discussing the censorship issues they have in foreign countries. And in my opinion, while I see the good reasons in having Clyde's parents censored, I think censoring a word that's techically made up is ridiculous.
Btw, sorry if Clyde is bigger than Janja. It was my first time drawing him.
Clyde belongs to Nickelodeon/Chris Savino
Janja belongs to Disney.

They censored "furbrain"? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard! X'D
At least with same-sex parents I can... kind of understand the meaning behind it. I don't think it's right, but that one actually has a reason.
That's like the outcry that that woman had over Derpy Hooves' name because she had a special needs child. Stupid stuff, man.

Yeah. I think the censorship people overreacted.

What is wrong with word "furbrain", its actually Janja's catchphrase in some way, I mean Bunga's is "Zuka-Zama" and Janja's would be "Stuff it furbrains!"

Ikr! Sometimes, depending on the cultural traits, censorship people can be too sensitive.
