Whenever I look at fanart, youtube comments, fanfics, and merchandise involving the Lion Guard, I notice that the people who watch the Lion Guard have particular reactions to certain characters depending on their personality and/or how many times they have appeared. As a result, I decided to use this meme to present my assumption on how the viewers perceive these certain characters.

NEUTRAL: KION
I can see Kion being both liked and hated at the same time for good reasons. One good reason for him being liked is that he can he knows that there is a time and place for work and a time and place for relaxing, thus showing his sense of maturity at times. However, one good reason for him being hated is that he can be a hypocrite at times, such as when he was fine with Janja, Chungu, and Cheezi being chased by crocodiles (and that scene really made me pissed) in "Follow That Hippo" and when he roared at a Mzingo and his flock (Kion, you do realize you just roared at a flock of birds that are considered endangered, right?) in "The Search For Utamu". Therefore, those two reasons would result in him being liked and hated at the same time.

OVERHATED: BUNGA
If you are one of my followers and you read my journal entries sometimes, you might recall that I wrote a journal entry about Bunga being The Lion King franchise's Scrappy Doo. Like I said in that entry, Bunga doesn't deserve to be hated like Scrappy and Jar Jar. Even if he can get careless at times, at least he brings in the funny during the Guard's rescue missions, making the Lion Guard not having an all-time serious atmosphere.

UNDERHATED: TIIFU AND ZURI
Why would people hate Bunga when they can hate Tiifu and Zuri instead? While Bunga can act careless but still manage to finish the job, Tiifu and Zuri don't give a damn on what situations they are in, whether the situations are safe or dangerous. This is shown when in "Baboons!", Kiara needed to focus on getting off the island in the middle of the river so she could arrive early for a Cape Buffalo ritual. Unfortunately, Tiifu and Zuri thought that Kiara's appearance was what mattered the most rather than getting off the island. Finally, it might be hinted that they only hang out with Kiara just because she is the future queen. This is because that in "Can't Wait To Be Queen", even if Kiara was the one taking charge and giving out orders, Tiifu and Zuri exaggerated what Kiara did just to be bossy towards Kion. However, despite their actions being worse, Bunga is still the one who gets the hate comments, which is why I would consider Tiifu and Zuri to be underhated.

UNDERRATED: WEMA & TUNU, AND JANJA & HIS HYENAS
When I watched "Lions of the Outlands", I was surprised to see Wema and Tunu, the first two baby hyenas in the Lion King franchise. I found them quite adorable and I'm sure other people have when they watched the episode. However, when I watched some clips of the episode on youtube, I was sad to see that all the people wanted to do was complain about minor issues involving the Outsider lions, which made some of the people want to call the series "not canon". Does that mean they also don't want to consider Wema and Tunu canon either?! I just wish those people took note of the first two baby hyenas ever in the Lion King franchise, because there were barely any comments regarding those two adorable little tykes. Let's just hope that Wema and Tunu get more screen time in the future.

As for Janja and his hyenas, I know that despite being villains, they have quite a fanbase. But, because of that, I feel like Disney Junior is not really giving the J-trio what they deserve. In my opinion, Janja, Chungu, and Cheezi, can't be focused on food forever. There's gotta be something the three of them do or have other than just being concerned about their upset stomachs. So, I hope that in the second season, they will go through some character development. Also, they can be considered underrated in the sense that there is not a lot of J-trio themed merchandise. Stuffed toys and action figures are a good start, but can't they appear on teen-sized t-shirts, sweaters, and pencil cases every once in a while?

GOOD: JASIRI
Jasiri really deserves this position because she is the first one to break the evil-hyena stereotype (I can't really count Asante since Kopa's status of being a canon character is frequently questioned). As a result, she has a good, reasonable, amount of fans. And, that's pretty much all I have to say.

As for the two blank spaces, I don't really see any overrated or bad characters so far.
Anyway, this is just my view on how I see the viewers acting towards the characters. If you have different views, I respect them.
