Usually I pick a dark and a light color, then progressively with a brush I mix them until I'm satisfied with the rendering (I don't know if that was understandable!!) You can use either a soft or a hard brush, it depends of the effects you want to give... personnaly, I prefer the soft one!

Khaleesi is still in my computer, I began to paint her a long time ago she's not finished yet but soon.
For the moment, the computer on which I used to paint is dead, I'll have to be patient!
