It's like.. we always see our physical appearance in front of a mirror.. And many of us are not contented on the reflection and could only see the ugliness, and would wish that we have something others already have..
But we don't know, or haven't realized yet, we already have "that".. be it a talent, quality, beauty, etc.. And that symbolizes the "key"..
That's just how I interpret this piece.

I really like the concept.
I just wonder - Is this photo manipulation or did you have the model sit in front of a picture of herself?
Either way, it's very impressive:
-If it's manipulation - It's very clean, you can look at the model's "outline" and you wouldn't find any signs of manipulation.
-If it's a picture it's even more amazing because you managed to give a picture of a picture a sense of depth which is just... amazing!
I also like this grey-ish feeling to the photo... And I'm also wondering if it's an added effect or if the picture looked that way when you took it.

Anyway, I love this. I get so much out of it. I'm reading Sybil right now (the true story of the woman with 16 different personalities). This image--to me--is symbolic of the strength within ourselves. To me it's like Sybil finally accepting that she can help herself and finding her strength within. Sorry this is totally random, but I love it!
