I never thought I would draw humanized ponies... but then I started working on some MLP voice-sets for Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale, and I felt inspired to draw portraits to go with them. It's been quite fun so far!UPDATE: I have completed the MLP portraits, characters, and voice sets now! They are available for download here:

This is Rainbow Dash the Rogue. Or Thief, if you're playing 2nd Edition (which I usually am). I couldn't decide whether to make Dash or Rarity the rogue of the party, but in BG2 I went with Dash so that I could make Rarity a Sorceress. Of course, I made her a fighter/thief so she could hold her own on the front lines alongside AJ.
I tried to give Dash's armor a Greek style design, since most of her outfits in the show have one. Cloudsdale itself is obviously Greco-Roman in style, so apparently all pegasi are proud of their Greek mythology heritage. I'm not 100% satisfied with the picture, so I may tweak it some more later. Anyway, enjoy!

I am running a D&D campaign and have wanted to cameo the Mane 6 as NPCs ever since I started watching MLP, just to see if anyone noticed ^^.
I actually made notes going through the episodes about what their stats might be, and what race and class would suit them 
I like your class choices a lot!
I have trouble deciding what RD would be... I actually have her down as an avoral guardinal at the moment ^^.
I love her as a rogue here, especially because I wouldn't have thought of it before!

Nice! Thanks! Yeah, I was making the characters in Baldur's Gate, and Dash and Rarity were the hardest to pick classes for. I needed a rogue in the group, so sometimes Dash was a fighter/thief, and sometimes Rarity was a mage/thief. When the other was a thief, Rarity would be a sorcerer and Dash would often be a dual-wielding barbarian because they get a speed bonus, haha!

Baldur's Gate is great
Rogue/fighter is a great combo (I have one in my NWN game atm).
Kinda funny you were thinking barbarian because when I saw rogue/fighter I thought rogue/barb would suit Dash well!
(I know it's not an option in the games, but I'm thinking D&D.)

Aw... you beat me to her! I've been making anthro epic fantasy MLP characters for a while... up next was a dual-sword rouge Rainbow Dash... now everyone'll think I stole the idea from you -.- I knew I should've drawn faster....

Well, it's certainly a great and well made picture, but I wonder about the selected ''class'' ?
Maybe it's just me, and the usual definition of a 'Rogue', but... Rogues and 'loyalty' aren't the best match, most of the time ?

Well, every party should have a good rogue, and Dash seemed like the best choice. She's loyal, yes, but she does occasionally cheat in order to win.
Her cheating lines from "Fall Weather Friends" worked great in the Baldur's Gate 2 voice set. When setting a trap, she says "I'm sure to win now!" and when going stealth she says "The rules have changed..."

i think Dashie is too flashy for a rouge, i have always thought of her as a ranger, i think they are the "cool" ones

If I had Rainbow Dash as the Player Character in my MLP/Baldur's Gate fanfic this would be sweet to use, alas in my fanfic "Friendship's Gate" she is not a fighter class.
