"A member of Zelena's colony of wild Valyrian dragons that survived the Doom and hatched the same night Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion hatched, Splittooth is the beta of the colony, a rank he shares with the larger male, Oakneedle. Despite being smaller than Oakneedle or Zelena (120 feet), he is exceedingly aggressive and this has served him well in maintaining his rank in the pecking order and when he encounters a potential threat. His golden scales are a throwback to the glory of the late Sunfyre of Aegon II, and what he lacks in stealthy abilities he makes up for with persistence on the hunt. He fears nothing, and regularly kills demons from the Shadowlands he encounters both for food and pleasure. He even has eaten a few humans, specifically dark sorcerers who were unfortunate to cross his path. Splittooth also has a mate; a she-dragon called Zadira, whom he won in combat against a fellow male named Ardath. Ardath bears these and other scars as a testament to this fight. In spite of his aggression, he always follows Zelena's lead, and is intent on expanding his colony's home range westward, as he knows Zadira will soon lay his eggs."

Another Valyrian dragon from Zelena's colony, with wing cut away to allow for a better view. Splittooth was heavily inspired by Caraxes and Sunfyre, but honestly, I feel he'd give Caraxes quite the challenge if they lived at the same time, given his aggression and dominating personality.
