AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!! *pantspants* *sigh* sorry, heh, it’s finally done!! I finished this at literally 3 AM last night, and it looks amazing! I’m so proud of this one!

This entry is for AlbinoRaven ’s contest for her comic, The Future of Our Past. I LOVE IT. So i just had to join.

I did the very best I could to stay close the TLK style as well as AlbinoRavens unique twist TO the style. The colors for the title were inspired by scars eyes and the blue is inspired by Uru. Ik that there’s no blue on her whatsoever, but it just feels right. And it’s a nice contrast. And finally, I just couldn’t help but think to add a scar-like symbol to the title. I think it looks awesome.
And does everyone see pride rock? It took a little experimenting, but I finally found the right texture I was amazing for, and I gotta say, I think it turned out alright. And Raven, do you see the TIIINY little orange silhouette in top of pride rock? That’s Mheetu. XD I thought he was important to add, but he doesn’t yet play a huge part in your comic, so I only added him to fill the space. I’m glad I found a spot for him too.
As for all the other characters, 😍ha! They all turned out WAY better than I imagined. I especially love Zira. I thought this to be the best fitting expression due to the immense anger and sadness she feels in the story. And for Akina, well, everyone already has their eyes either open or crying, so I thought I’d shake things up a little on how she’s expressed and I think it’s ok. I’m still having 2nd thoughts on Scar’s expression, but I don’t mind too much. As long as he’s there right?

OH! I almost forgot! To prove that I followed your rules, Raven, I also made this Speedpaint video of my contest entry! I really hope you like it and enjoy it. Please come to read the description when you can, and thank you for letting me enter. And I hope the rest of you enjoy too!
