So, who is this anyway?This is Kebechet, daughter of Anubis from Egyptian mythology.
No, I'm not making this up... well, okay, the image itself is my creative interpretation of her (she was never pictured with a human body; only as a snake or an ostrich, and I thought she'd look nice as a snake anthro), but she does appear in the mythology. Very rarely, and not in the major stories, but she's there.
[ Who's the mom? I have no idea; at this point in time, Egyptologists are not sure if Anubis ever married in the mythology. Their best guess would be that Kebechet is the daughter of one of his concubines...
]Anyway!
So, why is Kebechet dressed the way she is? I have an idea for a post-"modern day" series involving the ancient deities of mythology (mainly Egypt, but including Greek and Norse as major and reoccurring pantheons). So, she's dressed in somewhat modern attire. Her dad does spoil her somewhat, but she's got a job working in the "Funerary Service Dept," which Anubis heads.

Aww damn, I had an idea for a story which was the EXACT same idea. Egyptian gods arriving in modern day. Oh well...I'm sure you'd be better at me at the story since I have writers block like you wouldn't believe.
