One evening Lucky and Lakomi a new engine had been sent to collect a train at a Iron works/ breakers yard on one of the east central line. "I don't want to stay here any longer . " Said Lakomi "If we do they might cut us up on site and I don't want to be anywhere near those motorized monsters ! " Lucky looked at her. " Not all Diesels are bad ." He said " They'er engines like us, they may be different, But they aren't monsters ." " They'll try to hurt us if we aren't careful !" She growled .

The two wolf engines had collected the cars loaded with steel parts and scrap and were about to leave when Lucky heard something. " psst ! " Said a voice. " Lucky stopped. "Whats that he said ?" Lakomi looked around and spotted two rusty railway box vans. "Who's there ?" The vans spoke up. " Hey were trying to escape and we need help not sure you will be interested." " We were imported from the UK a while back, but they left us to rust after our axle boxes failed and we don't want to be scrapped." " Who are you two ? Lakomi asked. " Well I'm Randy and and the one behind me is Rascal ." Said the Van "But will you help us ?" Lucky thought about it and figured it might not be a bad Idea. "We'll be glad to help ." He said. " Although We'll have to work fast or we'll all be screwed" Lucky and Lakmoi's crew agreed to help too everyone worked fast . Lakmoi backed down her train on to the two vans and was coupled up. The two engines raced out of the smelter shed and into the yard. " I spotted by Diesels ." Said Lakmoi. Lucky was about to say something but was interrupted when Lakomi stopped short when she heard the sound of a Diesel engine .

"There's two Diesel's over there stay quiet." she whispered. The two diesels stopped by one the side track. "Do you smell something? " One of them said . "Yes ." Said the other . " It smells like steam, like from that of a steam locomotive." "Or maybe a wolf engine !" Said the other. Lakmoi and Lucky hid behind a wall they dare not breath. As the big diesel rolled forward to get a better look a foreman ran up to them and ask what they were doing here sitting around and to get back to work. The Two Diesel's agreed and left .

"Now's our chance !" Said Lucky. The two head out the yard as quickly as they could. "Yahoo! !Yahoo ! Yahoo ! A steamer escaping !" Yelled a Diesel close by, Lakmoi wasn't sure if it was the same one but she really didn't care. They left the yard quickly as thy could , It was dark when they reached the mainline. "Do you think we're being followed ?" Said Lakmoi. "I doubt that . " Said Lucky. " i know those guys will come after us. " Said Lakomi. " Besides those monsters were looking for us ! They probably would put us on the siding to be cut up !" Lucky reassured her that they would be alright and mentioned that they just helped two friends out referring to the box vans behind them . Although he wasn't sure but Lucky had a feeling that they were being followed.
