I don’t really wanna use the WonderSwan evolutions, since their canonicity to the Adventure anime is on the loose side. If I did, Vikemon would be on two profiles and Joe would get two megas, which feels off.

You would be both correct and incorrect with that statement. In the show, yes, it never went to mega. But in the WonderSwan games, it can become vikemon. And recently, thanks to the pendulum z, it was revealed that Slash Angemon became its mega, found here: digimon.net/topic/detail.php?i… Shakkoumon’s true mega has always been a mess.

Minor nitpick: Fighter Mode isn't an Ultra-level. Omnimon (10X Mega-level strength) isn't officially considered an Ultra, so how do you figure Fighter Mode (3X Mega-level strength) to be? Paladin Mode is, but not Fighter Mode. It does make sense, I suppose.
