A rough childhood and altogether miserable life produced a paranoid man with violent tendencies, and when the love of his life was cruelly snatched away from him, Mike took out his anger and desire for revenge on the five kids who would later be his undoing. Experiencing an excruciating death and cursed to continue on as Springtrap, he added to his other problems post-traumatic stress and self-loathing. Basically, he's a complete mental train-wreck who also stubbornly insists on having his own way and will not stand for being treated as inferior. No one except Shadow believed he could ever be redeemed.

Mike Schmidt and Springtrap belong to Scott Cawthon (not as the same character, I'm fully aware. This is an alternate universe, remember).
