Description Here is part two of my 5th anniversary special drawings, showing off Jeffrays past looks, from his original design all the way to his current look.
Now to give you a rundown of each year of Jeff so prepare to read through a large wall of text.

2009: Jeffray's original design, this design was obviously a Classic Spyro fan character at the time when I started replaying the old Spyro games for the first time in many years and I gave him the blocky Ps1 style snout and everything. He was also a lighter shade of blue with brown eyes along with his signature scar on his right eyebrow to really make it represent me. The upside down triangle marking was also remains of my Latios self at the time before I joined DeviantART, kinda making him part "latios" the whole time.

2010: Minor changes have been made to Jeff in this year. The white of his underbelly now stops at a triangle point at the chest with the red triangle marking downsized slightly and has a slightly taller overall stance with a longer boxier snout. Also note that this is the only version of Jeff that has wing claws at the wing tips. Very briefly between 2010 and 2011, Jeffray had a two-tailed fox form but It was short lived as the dragon half dominated.

2011: Jeffray grows much taller than his previous looks to give the impression that Jeffray is becoming a teenager. his snout becomes much smoother with even larger wings. This was also the year I first started roleplaying to meet new friends... and still friends with some of them to this day.

2012: When roleplaying started developing Jeffray even more, I started to gradually shift away from the Classic Spyro formula and he grew even larger than ever and more muscular with huge wings, big paws and generally looks a lot more mature than his predecessors. His shade of blue also darkened to the current shade that's used now and a vehicle (car) form was also added to Jeff to transform into. I also started getting into living machines midway to the end of the year with the creation of Grace the car dragon and Harpoon the MiG-21 BIS jet fighter.

2013: As my liking to living machines went into a boom, My liking to Latias and Latios also started coming back and this year is where Jeffray's look starts to drastically change! His wings become extremely smooth and sharp as well as becoming slimmer and now has retractable legs much like a Latios and has a much longer and more pointed snout for aerodynamics. Jeff's color pattern was also revised with a newly added ice blue two-tone color with an improved white underbelly and jagged patterns on the side that hasn't been seen since Jeffray's original design! This was the last year of Jeff using the traditional western dragon body with Lati modifications on it and his car form was replaced with a jet form that had a white stripe on the side to signify the remains of the car form.

Present day (2014): Jeffray's drastic changes went on even further and now he's a full on Latios with his jet form becoming quite obvious as parts of it now naturally show up on Jeffray's profile... officially making him a living machine. At this point, his western dragon qualities completely disappeared as his inner Lati took over for the better. The white side stripe on Jeff's jet form was also deleted and replaced with the new ice blue two-tone color underneath. Also at the same time when I started replaying the Old Ps1 Spyro games again, I created a set of new characters called "The Classics" with the core character being Classic Jeff which represents Jeffray's old look with improved colors and characteristics.

And that is the evolution of Jeffray within a 5 year time span, he sure has changed a lot over the years, especially recently. But he remains to be the good and friendly soul that everyone seems to get along with so easily.

I'm going to admit it. I loved both the two previous versions of Jeff before the current. I especially loved his Cutlass form. Not that I don't like his Sabre Jet form already. I guess my preference is with originality. Some of the OCs I've made used to fan-based (the majority being pokemon) were adapted into complete originals later on in their development. So I still like Jeff, even now that he is more of a dragon pokemon rather than an actual dragon. Though, personally, I liked his previous versions which I still love even today.
