An iconic figure of horror literature, he's been featured and parodied in tons of things, but i'm not surprised you don't recognize him, he's still kind of obscure in most media.

I'll admit, Lovecraft's work is pretty hard to get into, but his concepts are great.
His writing is really kindof a 'love it or hate it' kind of thing.

Not sure about the other two, sadly. On one hand the one on the right would make me tempted to asks "Moth man?" but he looks more like a owl... though I think I recall hearing about some sort of "owlman" when reading up about paranormal/horror stuff for the heck of it.

The other two are slenderman, and indeed the Mothman. You see most people in reports described him as being humanoid, but with no head, the eyes being seated in the shoulder area. This does kind of make him look like an owl...

Oh, he's a little known internet meme that was thrown into the spotlight by the film project of youtube user Marblehornets.
I strongly recommend that if you like any of this kind of stuff. I'm not at all joking when i say that ths could easily win an HP Lovecraft film festival.
As an Lovecraft fan, i've become addicted to the guy, and if you want to watch it, of course start on their first video. It's a new type of thing called a reality game, which means that this person's multiple youtube accounts, twitter, and multiple hidden websites around the net all combine to piece together an awesome supernatural mystery.
(the videos are really all i watch, though.)
