Description

Two more characters in my fanfic, Sammy and the Bare Bears, and residents of the La Brea Lands (aka the Land of Ice and Tar). Meet Arca, the giant short-faced bear, and her cub, Russo. Being an apex predator, yet a caring mother, Arca does whatever she can to provide for her son while teaching the way of the short-faced bear and how to survive the harsh land they call home. Arca is also always on the lookout, protecting Russo from any threats, including Bunto (perhaps the biggest threat to both them). Russo is always curious and he always wants to play. Whenever Jasmine and Shawn's group come over their way, Arca doesn't mind them too much, provided that they don’t give her or Russo any problems. But Russo thinks he's found new playmates, even if they're creatures he's never seen before. With that and the group proving they're not a threat, Arca quickly chooses to tolerate them.
