Description

In the frozen base of Mount Cabela, we get to see what our Arctic fox friend was witnessing. Here is a standoff between a trio of Arctic wolves and a herd of musk oxen, fight for survival between predator and prey. The wolves try to single out and isolate their target, while the musk oxen stick closely together to protect their own and each other. Aside from caribou and Arctic hares, musk ox are also an important prey item for the Arctic wolves, though they'd usually target the young and/or the infirm.
