Description Meaning: Royal Horned Face

Named (after Caleb M. Brown and Donald M. Henderson, in the year of 2015) for its ornate crown-like frill, this animal's skull was first found (in the Oldman River of Alberta, Canada) by Peter Hews (hence its species name). It was also nicknamed 'Hellboy,' due to its difficulty in being excavated from the surrounding rock matrix. Having grown around 5m (16.4 ft) long, this ceratopsian is a close relative of Triceratops (even since they lived in around the same time during the Late Cretaceous).
