Sure, this movie may not have won the best movie of the year reward and the main character was a jerk (mostly at the beginning). But other than that, I honestly don't get/understand the hate against this movie. If you asked me, this was a fine film about the development/growth of a character (especially by the heart), especially when facing with responsibilities (like looking after children that wind up in your care) and the value of family. Plus, you have to admit that they did a good job with the animation (and not to mention the villain was fun too (and the fact that he was a Pallas' cat, believe it or not. I just happen to know a species when I see one). Still, I hope people stop and at least try to give it a chance. At least Timothy is giving it a chance.
