I like this, and I can definitely see why the dd notes that the eyes are fascinating.
Um, while the concept is striking, I find that maybe there could have some more impact in this piece.

Looks kind of like a clash of the new and old. The new person against old and dirty ground along with the kind of antique looking effect of the photo. Very nice photo

Very beautiful shot. The model looks a lot like Michelle Trachtenberg to me. I also really like the purple haze that seems to be going on around the edges.

The composition of this photo is great, and I love the color of the dress/scarf, but the eyeshadow is kind ruining the shot for me. Just my personal opinion.
Don't get me wrong - lovely model, and great composition.

The models eyes is what prompted me to click on this, because even from just looking at the small thumbnail on the DD page, I could tell they were something spectacular. Her eye color is natural, yes?
I like the muted colors in this photo (how it looks aged), it is beautiful, and her eyes pierce right through you.
