You may think that this should go in the science fiction section, but the world it was created for does not and cannot exist. It is a fantasy world that has no bearing or relation to the real world in any way.Can't reall think of anything to say so I'll leave it to you.

I beleive the definition of science fiction is fiction based on scientific advances. This is not. It is based in a world that has no electricity but has robots. It is therefore fantasy as it CANNOT happen in any way. At least, as far as I know. I could be wrong, but that's what I think.

I know what you're trying to say. But that last quote may help show you what I mean. There is no impact on society, as this is not our society. It is a totally imagined universe, not linked, with a different physical make up. The energy sources are almost magical, there are people who can channel it through them, similar to wizards etc and other things like that.
