As I said in the first image, she has the ability to absorb energy into her body, which she stores to use with her gun as a weapon. However, she needs to occasionally "drain her batteries", so to speak, or else she'll tend to overload her normal capacity.So, as you can see, if she neglects to make sure her gun is in working order, she'll have a rather...embarassing malfunction.
