Yes, Taki got 2cm taller. I decided she just wasn't tall enough to really be fit the "Huge Schoolgirl" trope just yet. (No, Kokoro didn't get any bigger to compensate.)Interestingly enough, Taki wasn't originally supposed to be a nickname, but it was brought to my attention that the pun I wanted to do with her name wouldn't work kanji wise unless I changed it. Luckily, it works now.
This whole exercise has been kind of inspiring (like, for example, I totally think Taki hates her full name, and has a dog now). But especially I liked coming up with ways to make the same uniform look different depending on each character. The length of the skirt and the sorts of modifications that went into each one went a long way in making them all a little unique.

Despite being the tallest girl in Japan, Taki is the most "normal" character out of Kokoro's Daily Life. She reminds me of Asuka from Evangelion though.
