Description It's been around 3 months since i didn't work digitally (except some jobs) but i started loving acrylic fluid pours

teaching myself that having no control over things is still good ( even though i try to control the pours as much as possible XD )

Free-ish ( colors were pushed with a strong hair blower XD) the overall work is bad, there's 4 puddles of blue on each corner of a square 30 by 30 canvas on which i poured red and pushed them to the center but they did not meet the close-ups are kewl though

Thank you very much !

Ahh nice technique with the blower. Ahh...cropped. A photographer's (and artist's) best friend
It reminded me when I used to experiment with Polaroid film. After taking the shot, the camera would "cough out' the image but it wasn't developed yet...took about a minute. But as it was "appearing" I would take a Q-tip and mush about on it surface pushing the emulsion here and there to get things all discombobulated and abstract

WHoaa... i never had the chance to work with Polaroid films..or any film actually... that sounds like a very interesting technique  I remember it took a while for colors to set in but since all photos on Polaroid were "important" for the family, everyone was acting extra safe .. Now when i see some edits i will understand how they were made, thank you !

Yeah its pretty cool. Many of them ended up looking like impressionistic paintings. I have them in a box somewhere in my basement darkroom. I should dig them out and post them here...someday. I'm so lazy

Sabz0r In reply to GreenSprite [2018-07-05 12:37:51 +0000 UTC]

it's acrylic pouring technique , mixed with a bit of water and paint conditioner . this one was actually blown with a hair dryer and the silicone that i added in it helped it achieve this type of lacing

Glad you like it If you have time and enough space I advise you to try it. I used house paint cause it's way cheaper

ce-i "paint conditioner"?
