Beautiful background, the shading and materials are represented wonderfully! My favourite is the sky and bushes, though the fur of the bat and the clock are also well shown!
YouΒ΄re teaching me how to make good backgrounds and inking without directly teaching me about it, I just look at your wonderful inking techique and think which were the steps that youΒ΄ve followed. This WILL help me in the future to improve my artwork, and to add inking to the proper parts of the comic IΒ΄m making.

it was so hard to get the picture to look like the original.. i lost a lot of the values .. anyway..
I'm not happy about the "clouds"(more like hair) but it's a learning process so i .. breath in and out and move on ! haha
I admit i did add more details than usual ... it's a "to be continued" type of work for sure...
it's also not on the middle cause i was lazy to take the liners in my room yesterday so everything was freehand (even the clock that somehow is almost a perfect circle ... on which i added another circle in photoshop like a tard so now i can't actually prove it hahahah

Oh man the strangling hair clouds are probably my favorite part actually, such an original approach and effect!
Yeah that's a really tight circle, I am a firm believer in freehanding everything anyways so extra points in my books for leaving the rulers and guides out of the process, I saw your freehanded pencil stuff before this finished one so I can definitely attest to some very tidy work there (I'm guessing a little woot moment when you nailed it with the fine liner afterwards).
