Bought myself a fountain pen and an ink bottle and i did this piece to experiment... i haven't worked with ink wash before but i pretty much treated it as watercolor
And the fountain pen is aweeesomee
used the pen for line-art, added the ink-wash with brushes

I like all the lines you've used to create this piece, Sabina. I certainly admire your vision... to start with a blank sheet, then have it evolve into this.... I think this is a successful experiment & I certainly hope to see more using this technique.

Whenever i start a drawing i keep on drawing until it's over.I don't eat, i only go to sleep when i can't keep my eyes opened and wake up 5 hours later to continue ... It's weird as i hate the feeling of not working on something and i hate the feeling of having to finish something so i get conflicted whether I should take it slower or just work more projects...
I'm also used to having huge periods of time when i cannot draw so i'm scared that will come back and i push myself as much as i can while it lasts..

lol your conviction reminds me of a documentary I watched on badgers a few years back.
It's awesome you are riding a wave of inspiration, I'm so looking forward to seeing what you're about to do with it and I agree that you should take it as far as you can, theoretically it could last years though, so make sure to eat something in the meantime!

Well ... it usually lasts around 2 months but it's been longer than that this time and i'm also more grown up mentally.. i feel like i've reached a point where i know i just have to continue the practice instead of just opening Steam and gaming for another 2k hours ...

I know exactly what you mean about steam too, I used to game quite fiercely (well lazily sitting on my ass actually) but since I finally started interacting with the deviant art community I barely game at all anymore, I live in the middle of nowhere though and still keep steam open so my friends know I haven't died.

I am the same way, all in on 1-2 things at a time with no room for anything else, I like to use my illustrations as a container to pour myself into, then as soon as I finish one I just start the next, keeps me out of trouble!
