Wasn't sure I was going to put this up here, but after today's episode, I can't not post it. >.>Drawn about a month ago for the August part of a lighthearted, collaborative "pinup calendar."

I wish there was just a liiiiitle something extra in the background, maybe a poolside chair or two, or something, but y'know, what with sexy, sexy, sexy Blurr taking up much of the space, I can hardly find it in myself to rouse a serious complaint. XD The feet look like you might have wanted to cross them over, even just a bit, or maybe you didn't, but I just can't shake the feeeeling of it. I should stop staring at them. @_@ But, unf, they are such sexy feets. <3
But yeah, the pose is ungodly hot, especially that very suggestive arch, yum. And that sliiiiightly open mouth. Man, Blurr was totally born to do this, ha. XD The colouring and textures are both fantastic too, very bright and reminiscent of summer. X3 And the ripple on the surface of the pool is such a nice, little touch.
Oh man, this is so rockin'! I think I'll have to print it out and paste it the picture of August in my own Calendar, haha. XD <3

Thanks muchly for the crit. The background on this one was definitely more of an afterthought, so... yes. >.< Agreed that it is a little bare.
Those feet are one of the main reasons I wanted to do Blurr for this and not one of the others, lol. It's almost like he's wearing high heels, only not. Don't quite remember anymore, but I think that in the picture that inspired the pose the girl had one foot on the ground and was using that to help support the other leg. Might be where that impression is coming from, since not having that support would make this kind of a hard pose to hold. Will keep such things in mind in the future.

Oh, you're so welcome! Thanks for sharing your art, it's all so beautiful. As a not-artist (I say not-artist, because I need to grind exp in the forest of stop-doubting-get-off-thy-ass-and-just-draw, and then maybe after I've gained some levels, I can reach Artist class--BUT ANYWAY--I can understand very much in wanting feedback. Even if I didn't not-draw (totally not a double negative) I could understand that. Heck you spent all the time that you did doing the piece, the least I can do is say something constructive about it, if I can. (It sucks when I see something that's absolutely beautiful, but I can't find anything to say about it, even if I try to. I feel so badly about that. XD
But yeah, I'm all for comments, especially if it makes you do even more art, that and I like good vibes all around. X3

well then, it sucks he turned into a cube. i hope they find a side way to make it out to be a clone that was crushed, or he was able to make it out of the hallway before the crushers close shut. the cube could be some extra parts, made to simulate Blurr. he could appear later in season 3 and tell the council that Longarm is Shockwave. only a theory. it does suck that they killed him off, and in such a dark way. i used to work around a compactor when i worked for a toy store. things like that give me the chills.

well, if you think about it, Blurr didn't exactly die. more like he was imobilized. Because his color didn't fade away into gray like when bots offline it's supposed to. And in his Animated Wikipedia there's this picture of when he's crushed, and you can still see his spark. but it does suck that the bots didn't try to save him, or something. Just so you know and stuff

Well, it also didn't show him being totally crushed. It also didn't confirm the blue cube as being Blur. We have known Transformers to lose a piece or two. Could have been his weapon. Blur moves so fast, he could have found a way out without Shockwave knowing.

it is unfortunate that they cancelled the show. i think they have a story online somewhere that continues where the cartoon left off. i will have to find it though.

I like Shockwave, and in the video game I hated having to take him down, but right now, I wouldn't mind so much.
