I bought AC3 the other day and finished it last night. Oh god the feels almost killed me. Not only that, but the characters are ten times better than what I expected - Haytham being my favourite, even surpassing Ezio whom I love. Plus his voice...my god...that voice is so...wow...it could make butter melt, not to mention my feels.But yeah... I felt compelled to draw him. He's so beautiful. Too bad I can't draw him orz oh well.
It's nice to draw something that isn't anime style. I'll try and draw Connor if/when I have the time.

Anyways, I completely agree Haytham is like one of my favorite characters out of the whole series. Though Connor is up there too now. And I saw your comment about Templar's not being really 'bad'. I agree, seeing things through the eyes of an actual Templar made me a lot more forgiving. He helped others too. It's like he kind of saw it as to have freedom you have to have order as well. It has to be balanced.

I agree with your comment about the templars not being evil because they aint, the assassins see them as that because they have a different point of view but theyre just as bad for killing people because they dont share the same opinion. Haytham was right when he said Connor was ignorant because Connor doesnt know what people with freedom are capable of whereas Haytham does, thats why he wants order. Connor was too set on revenge against Charles Lee to see. If only they teamed up, then the world would be better.
As for your art, i salute you. Ive been working on my own AC artwork and i cant shade to save myself. The shading is so smooth that it looks realistic and you certainly did him justice

OAAAAH he is so handsome. *-* Really good job with the shadows and well.. EVERYTHING. My favorite character in AC3. Yes. Hes voice is ultimate sexy. And that.. GENTLEMAN PRESENCE oh god.

I KNOW. I WAS ~SURE~ there would never be man who could be even NEAR as awesome as Ezio. I was wrong.
At first time I started AC3 I was actually kinda MEH I WANNA PLAY AS CONNORrrrr, but second time I sobbed because the Haytham-part was "too short" at the beginning. XD And and I loved TOOO MUCH that part him being with Connor. Father and son. Best. Ooaahh, it's so refreshing to see someone else is this HYPED about Haytham because I have seen too much Tumblr posts with "oh haytham is so ugly and stupid i can't stand him at all"-comments and I just want to go and SCREAM that they are wrong. 8D OPS.

Personally I don't think he was a "bad guy". After AC3, I'm not sure I can even class the Templars as "bad". They have different methods of dealing with people/society than Assassins, though both kill, lie, cheat and steal to further their own beliefs.
Meh, I'm a lot more forgiving of the Templars now. x'D
