I love Fang and Max! They're always on the run though so I decided they might as well be on the run in an awesome forest because I like trees

and I'm thinking of doing another drawing of my actual favorite story but I can't find the damn book.
Oops... Almost forgot to say that Maximum Ride belongs to the talented James Patterson!!!

I love these books!!
I'm planning on entering the contest as well so I decided to check out the entries and I just had to look at this one 
And I envy your background grass and tree skillz, man.
And of course Fang has his hand in a pocket as he runs, because he's just cool like that xD Lots of luff. However, if I may say just a little bit of critique (sp?) - the placing of Max's right foot makes it look like she's supposed to be on the other side of Fang. I didn't notice it until I was looking at the shadows you did, so it doesn't ruin the picture, bu it's just a litle bit of perpective notice I'd thought I'd give ya.
ANYWAY. Love the books, love the drawing, and best of luck in the contest!!

The wings took me a long time and I didn't try to make Fang look cool, he just came out like that
Thanks for the critique! I had noticed that her foot looks off but I had already drawn it and I was all "I hope people won't look" 
I'm just not good at drawing feet and if I thought I could do a better job, I would.
My other entry I'm working on doesn't even have feet

This made me super-happy. I just finished reading Fang [within 6 hours of opening the book].. and I'm superhappy to see someone got Max's hair color right. I mean.. how many times does it have to be mentioned that she had brown hair with sun-made STREAKS of red and blond before people stop drawing her as a blond? Highly annoying >>; Great job!

Thank you! Yeah, that always confused me as to why people would make her blond when the books clearly stated she was brunette... Even Angel said it... Fang was also amazing!!! I was pissed at the end although... Love the letter he left for Max.

Seriously! Like, I understand blond-with-pink-streaks, because they were in disguise. But she's never been just blond. Highly annoying. And yeah, I'm -still- annoyed at the ending of Fang. He was my second-favorite character :c

Wow! There is many things to say about this piece. First off I love Max and Fang turned out. The details on the feathers on the wings by the markers give them a nice touch. The surrounding scenery is lovely the grass and the trees are very detailed and it shows that you spent the time on each aspect of the piece.
