I turned the key in the lock and opened the door.

To my horror, I saw my friend, Antonio, lazily sitting on my couch. Observing the surroundings, I immediately noticed the mess he made. There was a pile of crumpled papers beside him, and it looks like he's too preoccupied with what he's writing to see and hear me open the door. Didn't I tell him to keep my house clean while I'm gone?

As quiet as possible, I tiptoed to the back of the couch. Once I stood behind him, I peeked at what he's currently scribbling. With my eyes widened, I realized that he's actually writing a letter. It's not just any kind of letter, it's a love letter!

But, there's a question that hasn't been answered yet.

Who is he going to give the letter to?

Narrowing my eyes, I read the whole letter as I hopelessly tried to figure out who he's writing to.

Forgiving

Caring

Beautiful

Jealousy started bubbling in as I continued perusing it.

Who could that person be?

Deciding to catch his attention, I walked towards him and flicked his forehead.

"Ow! What was that for?" the Spaniard placed his hand on where you hit him. Tapping my feet, I questioningly looked at the papers before looking at him again.

"Ah. T-this is nothing. Nothing special at all! Hahaha..." he faked a laugh before awkwardly cleaning the mess. I just sweatdropped before I kneeled down, grabbing a piece of paper, curiously reading it and raising an eyebrow.

"D-Don't look at that!" I heard him say before I felt him tackle me. With my head hitting the floor, I winced as I gritted my teeth to bear with the sharp pain. I squeezed my eyes shut and rubbed the back of my head.

Noticing the silence that enveloped the whole room, I slowly opened my eyes to meet a pair of emerald eyes staring at me. I blushed profusely when I realized the position we're in right now.

He's on top of me, hands placed on the floor beside my head, giving me no way to escape.

My heart melted once I glanced at his face. He's grinning at me, his beautiful eyes twinkling with joy. He's a bit oblivious sometimes, but I just can't stop the butterflies from exploding in my stomach whenever he looks and smiles at me like that.

Damn him and his adorable smile.

He never fails to make me feel like this.

Hiding my reddening cheeks with my hands, I hollered at him with a huge scowl on my face.

"Get away from me!"

Once he heard that, he slowly stood up and muttered something along the lines of 'I'm sorry', although I can't quite make up the rest of what he said.

Doing the same, I regained my composure and turned around to look at him. My eyes softened due to the sight before me.

He stared at the ground as if it intrigued him. A small, but visible frown was seen on his face.

He looks... hurt.

Of course, it also hurt me to see him in this state. Racking my mind to find out a way to properly apologize to him, I nervously walked towards him. With a deep breath, I let out a sincere apology.

"I'm terribly sorry if I hurt you and your feelings. I didn't mean to yell at you like that. I'm sorry, I hope you're not mad at me anymore," I gave him an apologetic look as I placed my hand on one of his shoulders. He pouted and looked at me with huge puppy eyes. I nodded and gave him a reassuring look in return.

"Sì, sì. I forgive you," the brunet said as he beamed at me. He's making me flustered again, and this time he noticed.

"(Name), you're already as red as a tomato!" he then proceeded to poke your cheeks in amusement. I just rolled my eyes at his reaction.

Wait, I'm actually supposed to ask him about the letter. I mentally facepalmed in slight annoyance.

"Who are you going to give the letter to?" I turned to face him and smirked when his face had a tinge of red.

"To someone..." Antonio fiddled as he responded. Walking closer to him, I looked up and crossed my arms.

"Who?"

"I'm talking to her right now," hearing that, I realized that...

He's referring to me.

I slipped my arms around his torso and squeezed him gently.

"Te amo!" Antonio stroked my hair lightly and pulled me closer to him.

"I love you too. Now, let's buy some ice cream. Let's just clean up your mess later," I let go and held his hand as we walked outside and enjoyed the rest of the day together.

"Yeah, I'd love that,"

"Hey. Do you really think I'm kind and caring?"

"It depends on the situation, but mostly, you are,"

"Thanks,"

Things didn't go as planned for him, but to me, this day is perfect.

He might be a bit oblivious and maybe downright clueless at times, but that makes me fall for him even more.
