Jim, you're one hard mother *BEEP* to draw.....and your hand is WAY too big..but im not fixing it..because im lazy
Okay so aside from the obvious fail at making Jim look like Jim, I was long due to draw a decent picture of little Calius with her Dad!
Please dont ask why Calius is in the motion picture uniform because I really dont know..
Suppose to be a photo of some short, probably the one Jim dropped in and my RP and Fletcher picked up.
I really need to draw more Calius and Jim pictures

Dawww! I'm so glad you like this!! Its been so long since I've seen this picture actually, so I kinda forgot it existed!! I see so many mistakes ;w;
AWW, yes, the one with Chekov! I don't know why I throw her in those uniforms, just because I love them and I can see Calius mimicking her dad in anyway possible. (Even with clothes!)
Jim is a pain in the butt to draw -___-; Honestly, I found it was easier just to draw him as a mix of TOS and JJTrek so I had the best of both worlds. I love Chris Pine's version and William Shatners! So I just kinda meshed them together! I don't know if that will help, specially if you're not into JJverse Star Trek. It took my a good couple tries to get this look -w- The sketch for this, if I remember correctly is so stained with eraser markings

I guess it's just hard for me to get a grip on any "defining features" for William Shatner's face, as far as my simplistic, cartoony style goes. Spock has his long face and eyebrows, Scotty has his chubbiness and mustache, even Sulu has a sort of boxy, cheekbone-y face shape, but Kirk just seems... nondescript. Not in a bad way at all (he's a great character and looks nice too! 
Buuuut anyways, enough of my rambling. Like I said, this is an adorable picture, no matter how old it is!

The hand isn't too big! It's called foreshortening! It's where one object in the picture is closer than the others to the hypothical camera than the others making it appear larger! You achive something artist work for years to do!
