Looks a better now with the background. Though, I feel the fish doesn't really look like it fits the picture. It seems like it was just stuck on. Mostly because the slight white fringing around it and the rather apparent artifacts on it. Putting it behind the orca, and touching up a bit more on the fish should help.
Otherwise, its quite a well done piece so far. Especially like the pose of him and the way you did the tribal designs. Simple but elegant.

The only thing I'm having a love/hate relationship with in this piece is that fish. Maybe position it differently, saturate it less so it stands out a bit less? Other than that, the colors are love in this piece, very simple. The pose of the KW is great, the positioning of the tribal background brushes are excellent too! Overall, very nice!

Mmm.. no.. I think the background takes away from your focal point... the orca. Sorry I didnt get around to expressing my opinion about that! :C
