Not only is this well done and explains the process super well, but it also reminds me of Hexxagon, a really cool older DOS game from the early 90s.

Nicely done, I've been learning to make gems thanks to playing with Mega Man ZX sprites back in the day and more recent times, recreated the gems in Steven Universe by using the vectors for a reference.
