Oh that's too funny. I have that same exact watch. Epic because it actually has the working second hand isn't one of those cheap ones. Can't remember for the life of me what batteries it takes, and I need to replace them.

I don't know what batteries it takes. I took it to Fred Meyer's to get it fixed. I may have overpaid to get the battery replaced, but it was the first place I could think of and I really wanted the watch to work.

Oh thank you so much! So they figured out how to open it and everything? I got mine a long time ago and am not sure if there were any instructions and I lost them or if there weren't. XD I just want my beloved watch to work again, because it's amazing. lol

Mine was used, so there were no instructions, but they were able to get it open and replace the batteries. So glad they were able to do that.
But if you've got your watch, you should totally take it somewhere and see if they can replace the batteries if that's what's wrong.

I'll definitely do that as soon as I can! Thanks so much for the info! I was too afraid to take it anywhere because I was scared it would get messed up or something. If a place like Fred Meyer can do it my fears are now long gone.

I actually got in in a Fullmetal Alchemist lot on E-bay. The lot came with several FMA items, but the watch was the main reason I got it.
You can buy the watch itself on E-bay as well. (This one is the fifty+$$ one)

It's real. When I got this one it was used, but in great condition with the exception that the batteries needed replaced. It needs two batteries, one for the minute hand and one for the second hand...
It's an amazing watch.
